About this event

This workshop is designed to introduce customers who have little or no computer experience/skills to computers. Topics include:

  • Basic overview of computer terms/equipment/features (mouse, keyboard, desktop)
  • Power up and shut down
  • Getting comfortable using the mouse, keyboard, desktop and tower

A mask will be required if there are more than 10 people in attendance.

The Wichita Workforce Center is located at 2021 N. Amidon, Suite 1100 in the New Leaf Plaza. Parking is free in the lot in front of the building.

 

Prior to the session you must go to www.KANSASWORKS.com and register with a free job seeker account. Or please visit your local workforce center for assistance. If you do not register on KANSASWORKS.com 1 day in advance you will not be allowed to complete the workshop.

 

Please report to the Front Desk and check in no later than 5 minutes before the start time listed. No one will be admitted late to the workshop.
